"A very super spectacular time!" — Ruby M.
"I had a wonderful time and learned so much!!" — Sarah S.
In this two-hour workshop and gathering by Oklahoma fiber artist Natasha Ball of House Sparrow Fine Nesting and West Elm Tulsa, you will create your very own handmade macrame hanging planter—all supplies included!
We will cover basic macrame terms and techniques, including how to customize your hanger for any planter, how to decorate your hanger with knots and fringe, and how to hang your final piece.
Students will leave the workshop with one completed plant hanger, complete with small glass planter, and a take-home DIY instruction booklet. I will have additional hanging-planter kits, which include cord, beads, hanger, and instruction booklet, available for purchase during class.
West Elm will have plenty of air plants and succulents in stock, perfect for your new hanger.
Wine and light refreshments will be provided. Good idea: Wear comfortable shoes.
